According to a survey by the University of Michigan, only 29% of Americans think now is a good time to buy a home. The number hasn’t been this low since 1982.
In 1982 the rate for a 30-year fixed mortgage was 15.13% compared with just 2.86% today. If it’s so much cheaper to get a mortgage today, why is everyone so glum?
